Hello Neighbors!

You may recall that back in early March I posted my pages for the village of Mucsi. http://www.dvhh.org/mutsching/ Since then (and while you were not looking), I have added information from the 1728 urbarium for Mucsi (FHL microfilm #1729820). This elderly document is handwritten and a challenge to read, and it is in Latin. So I will need to find help with a translation. I have been able to read most of the names.

I have also posted the names from the World War I and World War II memorials in Mucsi. On the Resources page I have added a few more materials.

Some weeks ago I was able to locate what appears to be the 1767 urbarium for Mucsi (FHL microfilm #1529895). It is written in the old German script, so it will take some time to find help to transcribe even the names of the farmers. But it will get done, hopefully during the summer.

I must say that in 37 years of research I have come across only two other people researching families in Mucsi. Talk about an exclusive club!!
