One of our niece baked this and introduced it to us at recent funereal. We
do realize at this time of the year, we want to avoid the kitchen as much as
possible. The people liked so much, we still have telephone calls and want
the recipe.

Chipits Toffee Crunch Chocolate Bars
Base:
1 ½ cups flour
¾ cup packed brown sugar
¾ cup butter
Topping:
1 can sweetened condensed milk
2 T butter
1 ½ cups chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk)
1 pkg. Chipits skor toffee bits (200g)
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Preheat 13" * 9" pan
2.. Base: Combine flour and sugar. Cut in butter until mixture crumbly.
Press evenly into pan. Bake 15-20 min, or until lightly golden.
3.. Topping: Heat sweetened condensed milk and butter in heavy saucepan
over medium-low heat, stirring constantly * 5-10 min, or until thickened.
Spread over baked base. Bake 12-15 min longer, or until golden.
4.. Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly on top. Return to oven and bake 2-3
min longer, or until chocolate is soft and shiny. Remove from oven and
spread chocolate evenly. Sprinkle toffee bits on top, pressing lightly into
chocolate. Cool completely. If necessary, chill to set chocolate before
cutting into bars.
