Hello everyone!

I'm doing laundry tonight and I have a mess of road maps and brochures on my
dining room table because I've just returned from a vacation trip to the
beautiful state of Virginia! I think I'll leave them there just a little
longer....

Traveling has just made me more anxious to attend the Mansfield Treffen on
Sept. 1 - 2. I hope you are all working on your own travel plans, and I
know many of you are in or very close to Ohio, so I hope we have a good
turnout to support the LUSA's Tag der Donauschwaben and promote the DVHH
resources, too. We are planning some interesting activities and will keep
everyone advised.

On my recent trip, I had the pleasure of meeting our list subscriber,
Barbara Hilderson on Virginia's simply breathtaking Eastern Shore -- thanks
for lunch, Barbara -- it was great! I hope to also meet many of you in
Mansfield, so get out of the house and come out to watch the dancing &
festivities.

It's just around the corner!
