Hello Listers,

I'm still trying to get beyond my brick wall, Johan (Ioannes) R. in Kolut.

One lead is a Johan Rauschenberger marrying Weibranda Gerbek in Apatin 30.10.1781
She was 23 when she was married, so she's born around 1758
One witness was Johan Gerbek, probably her father

So I'm trying to find her, birth, death somewhere

I've asked you before if Weibranda Gerbeck died in Apatin or Kolut, but no one has any info
That would have brought me maybe a little closer

I've tried the Archives in Sombor, Serbia, for the death records of Weibranda in Apatin and Kolut,
but she did not die "on record" in Apatin or Kolut.

My question therefor is, if there are any records of Weibranda Gerbek or her father, Johan, in Hodschag,
Apatin, Kolut or possibly Gakowa, as she must surely have come from somewhere, especially if she's
married in Apatin with her father as a witness.

I know this a bit poking blind, but I'm exploring a link thru Hodschag
