My grandmother was from the Dunfanaghy area (Magherarorty), and Sheephaven is
the bay within a few minutes walk of Dunfanaghy. I think another close town
along the road is Port na Blagh (if I spelled that right). I remember seeing
a building along the bay (between the two towns) with the word "Sheephaven"
on the side, but I don't recall seeing any actual town with that name. Maybe
someone on the list from Ireland will know more.
P.S. I'm a Notre Dame graduate, so when I saw the "South Bend" in your
query, I knew I had to answer..
