Is there any one who can give me more information on this
part of my family. The Ruscoffs have been rather illusive
because we reckon that it wasn't his proper name, It may
have been difficult for the English to pronounce so they
gave him the surname Ruscoff because that's where he came
from in Brittany.
When did they come to London from Dorset? Was it before
Blanche and Gustave were born or after? If anyone has
census returns for 1881 for whitechapel area of London
or Poole Dorset, do these names ring a bell?
Also anyone know when the Franco-Prussian War/the Paris
uprising took place?

Gustave RUSCOFF b ab 1840 in Brittany was an Onion Johnnie
and a soldier married Mary Ann ? from Poole Dorset,
It is thought that he died during the Franco-Prussian War,
I know he fought in that because he had a medal,
but I don't know if he died in it.

married life, Ernst was smuggled to Britain by the Red
Cross during Nazi Occupation of Austria, family wiped out
by Nazi's, went on to gain degree in engineering, worked
for DeHavillend and Rolls Royce designing Engines. Wini
died of Breat cancer in 1979

5l) Peter Michael REYNOLDS b. 21/1/1957 Worked for
Building society after school, was a talented
artist, was a scout leader and enjoyed sport,
unfortunately he developed a rare form of Leukemia
and died in 1988 aged only 31
5m) David Paul REYNOLDS b.9/2/1963 works as a
manager for company in charge of drivers, met
girlfiend Sally there, now both live Colindale,
London.

4n) Joyce RUSCOFF b.24/12/1936 Kings Cross London, moved to
Kingsbury in 1940 due to German Bombing, went to Roe Green
Junior School, Claremont Secondary School and Harrow art
college, went on to work as Miliner for Delores in Dean
Street Soho during 1950's Married Ronald John LING 23/3/1957
in Kingsbury Parish Church, After birth of daughters went on
to work in Sainsburys, and Marks and Spencer Brent Cross.
Now lives in Uckfield Sussex

went to Roe Green Junior School, Kingsbury High
School,Oxford Polytechnic. Gained degree in
Geology, went on to work for Habitat and now Tesco
head office,

5n) Penelope Ann LING b.20/11/1965 Kingsbury, as
above with education was at school at same time as
George Michael - Roe Green and Courteney Pine -
Kingsbury High, gained degree in Architecture in
1987,worked as graphic designer for Auto Trader,
Oxford Mail and Times, works as WebMaster for
European Electronique near Oxford. Married to
Richard PYKE, no children or pets, just a mortgage
and a computer!
