Hi again,

Just thought of something else. Does anyone fancy trailing through some
old, dusty documents? Go on - you know you do. Who would like to have
a look at the ledgers for the shipping company of John SLADE of Poole
and see if there is any mention of George Nickleson ALLEN? The dates
would be round about 1785 to 1792 and i think the ledgers are at the
Dorset CRO.

Well, I think I have given you all enough to do. Now don't crush each
other in the rush.
