Dear Jill,

Reference all your messages about Winterbourne Kingston and whether it
really does exist (see your comment about Brigadoom!). I will take
pity on you as it is a pleasant place with a nice pub, a good garage, a
useful country cash and carry and some very expensive houses. I often
go through it on my way to Blandford from Bere Regis.

Yes, there were a lot of Arnolds there in the mid 19th Century, the
families were inter alia makers of Dorset Buttons.

Let me know the specifics about your'loose ends' and I will see what the
Dorset Record Office has to offer.
