Hi,

I have recently come across a family of the name GALPIN in Bridport,
Dorset with ties to the Presbyterian church and wonder how
extensively the Dorset area was represented by this denomination.
My GALPIN family were baptised in a Devon Presbyterian church. I
have come across very few, if any other references to other Presbyterian
churches in Devon and wonder how wide spread the church was represented in
both Dorset and Devon in the years,1580 - 1836.
I really hope some one can give me some clues to this branch of the church
for these years and for the two counties. Can any one help me with
information please?
