Hi Jon ,
take a look at http://www.my-ged.com/hatcher2/ there are some 10 or so
HAYTERs there. In fact it's probably worth while for anyone with
ancestors in the area of Sturminster/Marnhull to take a look there are
some 3200 individuals listed.

Subject: HAYTER
I have been looking for help on my HAYTER family connections but so far
having no luck at all. I was looking at an Ordnance Survey
map this morning
and was wondering whether I might have more luck with Dorset,
as the only
data I have is that my grandmother (Elsie HAYTER) was from
Bransgore (not
sure about her birth date but it must have been about 1900). I had no
response from Hampshire at all, but as Bransgore is right on the county
border, maybe someone in Dorset has some information. I
understand that her
family were publicans at The Crown.
Any help would be much appreciated.
