Hi Fiona

Either is possible at this time, but if you look through the 1851
census for the Bridport area you will find 7 "Lime Burners" and some
36 "Line Makers" or "Line & Rope Makers" so working on those
descriptions I don't think that there is much doubt that it should be
line maker.
