there are Ploughmans living in Marnhull now. There is also Housing estate
called
Ploughmans Close . In years gone by they were landowners in Marnhull which
is between Hinton and Stalbridge.

fairly certain of is that john ploughman was born in 1785 in hinton
dorset...his father may have been george born in 1751 and his father was
also georgeborn about 1725ish...other than that i have been able to find
nothing...any help is appreciated...thanks...
