Thanks for your info sent on 25th July
My KELLOWAYS used an O or an A indiscriminately, just as my ancestor appears as HENRY George in the 1881 Census, and GEORGE in 1891.
The 1881 listing, census place DOR Mapperdown:-
Henry G. Head. 25. born DOR Wool
Mary J. wife 29 b. SOM. Penselwood
Emma E. dau 4 b. SOM. Cannock (her g/dau insists that this was Cannock, Staffs.)
Charles son 2 b. DOR Armswell
Mary A. dau 11m. b. DOR. Armswell
2 more children were born at Armswell, in 1882 & 1883, but by 1888 the family had moved into Wiltshire.
Any info on any of these would be appreciated.
