Hi Carol
If you haven't got it already this looks like your family in the 1881
census:
Dwelling:Stars Lane
Census Place:Yeovil, Somerset, England

John JEANSM57 MMontacute, Somerset, England
Rel:Head:Occ:Brewers Assistant
Priscilla JEANSM51 FStockwood, Dorset, England
Rel:Wife
Carrie JEANSU16 FYeovil, Somerset, England
Rel:DaurOcc:Dressmaker
Albert JEANS 11 MYeovil, Somerset, England
Rel:Son Occ:Scholar
In the 1851 census for Yeovil the only likely candidates in the area
were:
John JEANES, age 26, whose occupation was shown as Leather Parer living,
as a lodger at Rakes Court, Yeovil, but his place of birth is shown as
Yeovil.
or John JEANS who was also a Lodger age 24, occupation Ag Lab, who was
born Montacute,Som and was living, Bishopstone, Montacute.
As they were lodgers no doubt the information was given to the
enumerator by the landlord and the data may not be as accurate as all
that?
In the 1851 census the following were living at Middle Street,
Montacute, Som
JEANES, Ann, Age 57 Born Montacute,

By the look of it your next step, if you haven't done so already, should
be to obtain the Marriage Certificate for John & Priscilla and probably
to join the Bristol and Somerset List too: subscribe address is:
