Hi Sherron,

I was interested to read about your CHANT family and although I cannot add
anything about them at Odcombe, I do have a connection with them at
Puddletown.

I have a marriage between George CHANT (who I think is the son of your John
Chant who married Mary Davis in Puncknowle 22 May 1786) and Miriam PALMER.

The marriage took place at Puddletown on 15 Feb 1814. Miriam was baptised
on 22 Jan 1792 in Little Bredy, the daughter of John and Elizabeth PALMER.
John was my 5 x great grandfather Joseph PALMER's brother.
