Hi Listers,
Can anyone please locate a Matthew FANCY, born after 1781, probably on
Portland. He married an Elizabeth STONE before 1808 and died ????.
This man is driving me insane, as I can find no trace of him, apart from the
name of his wife and children, Matthew, Rebecca and Jane.
Maybe he was married twice , who knows?
Also missing, unable to trace, is Elizabeth Fancy, married John Elliott in
1875 on Portland, no sign of in 1881 Census.Elizabeth had an illegitimate
daughter, Mary Jane in 1855, I am presuming she was illegitimate as her
surname was Fancy.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
