Hello Peter,
I have found two possibilities - Farrington, Dorset and Farthingstone,
Northamptonshire.
Farrington appears to be a tiny hamlet directly north of Hambledon Hill near
Childe Okeford and may actually be in the parish of Childe Okeford. It's
about 9 miles north of Winterborne Whitechurch.
Farthingstone is just north of the B4525, west of Northampton and about ten
miles from the town.
Maybe on of these is what you are looking for.
Best wishes,
Liz Pass
(in Poole, Dorset)

accounts for 1791 - 1828, and during the period 1798-1800 the overseers sent
several payments to this parish of more than Five Pounds a time (a
substantial sum in those days) I assume it is to support a family from
Winterborne Whitechurch who have fallen on hard times and WW parish has
decided to support them from a distance rather than have them Removed to WW.
