I am new to list and wish to declare my avenue of research. Hopefully someone is on the same wave length because my Paternal Grandfther has me at the "Brickwall"

Enos Reak born Stour Prevost [not sure if that is correct spelling. Told that Stour is river?] born Dorset 1831/32, died aged 77 years, buried 15th February 1908. Buried at Municipal Cemetery, Ryde, Isle of Wight. Married Elizabeth ? born Stour Prevoust. Children Elizabeth 1859 at Gillingham, Dorset. John Thomas 1862 at Botley Hampshire. William 1863 Botley, Hampshire. William 1863 at Botley, Hampshire. Emma Jane 1869 at Botley, Hampshire. Ann 1870 at Ryde, Isle of Wight.

1881 Burial at Municipal Cemetery Ryde, Elizabeth Reak buried 19th March 1881 aged 52 years.

1881 Cenus has them at No 2 Slade Road East Field I.O.W.
Enos Reak W 49years M Labourer
John Thomas Reak U 19 yrs
William Reak U 17yrs
Emma Jane [later known as Emily Jane] U 12 yrs
Ann Reak U12 yrs

No Elizabeth born 1859 at Gillingham. Married?

1884 John Thomas Reak married Ann Jolliffe W nee Till 8th December 1884, Ryde I.O.W.

1885 born 9th February 1885 William John Reak [later known as William John Reeks] my Grandfather.

Hoping that this ties in with someones research.
