Hello Listers

I have just subscribed to this list as result of my research in
Somerset.

The 1881 census shows Charles GILL living with his family in Wyndham
Road, Christchurch. He was born in Wimbourne as was his son John GILL, a
cab driver.

My interest is in John who I think could be the elusive John GILL who
married Jane Louisa BUDGETT in Nunney, Somerset in 1886. He is described
as a coachman but I suppose the job description depends on the size of
the vehicle!

This is one of my many brickwalls and I would like to hear from anyone
who has an interest in or happened upon any of the above.
