Hi Neville, I think your William Fox is the one who married Ann Stevens in
Wyke Regis 24th May 1841, bearing in mind that Radipole where the children
were born is next door to Wyke Regis there is a good chance they are one and
the same, Williams father is given as Thomas Fox on the marriage entry,

The only William Fox baptism I have with father Thomas is in Caundle
Stourton 14th June 1807, which is a few years to early if the census age is
accurate, and this is not always the case ......

The next puzzle is where is Hinton Caundle ??? no sign of it on my map, so
perhaps this was an enumerators error , all the Caundles that I can find are
grouped in the triangle between Sherborne, Sturminster Newton and
Stalbridge.
