I am looking for a Frederick Parsons born in Sturminster in 1876 - my great grandfather.

He may have been registered as Frederick Lampard or even Lampard-Parsons.

He had always been called Parsons and married in that name, however when he went to
claim his pension he discovered that he had been registered as Lampard.

We know he was illegitimate but are uncertain as to whether Lampard was his mothers
maiden name of his birth fathers name, although we suspect the former.

His mother married a Parsons within a few years of his birth and we suspect that Frederick was then
given the surname Parsons.

Any help greatly appreciated.
