Hi! I am new to the list and am researching the family of a Minister, John
Pinney, who lived in Bettiscombe and Broadwindsor back in the 1600s. He
married JANE FRENCH & they had at least 10 children, one of whom, AZARIAH,
was exiled to Nevis, West Indies for his part in the Monmouth Rebellion. I
am hoping to find JOHN'S parentage to see if I can connect him with the
PINNEY family I have from Somerset. I have a book of his writings in which
he names all his children & has letters to some of them.
