Hello again,

Thanks to Brian Tompkins who pointed me in the right direction on the Freke
Coat of Arms being the inspiration for the U.S. Seal and Flag. Seems that
George Washington's ancestors had the bars & mullets on his family crest
quartered. This is why we do genealogy, to seek the truth.

I would like to make contact in England of researchers doing research on the
Freke/Freake lines. The Second and second Virginia Charter have list Sir
Thomas Freake, Knight and a the third Virginia Charter has Thomas Frake,
thelder, and Henry Freake, thelder, Ministers of God's word listed.

We know that several Freke/Freake who lived and owned land in Virginia and
Maryland. To date, we have not figured out who Henry Freake and Thomas
Frake were. We do know that a William Freake sold land to John Washington
in Virginia.
