To begin the New Year here is a reposting of our Dorset connections :

All mainly from the area of Weymouth, Chickerell, Portesham from around
1800

WILLIAMS
CHUBB

Beaminster and Cerne in the early 1800's

STONE
COMBEN

Weston, Portland in 1800 - 1860's


Our main brick wall is Esau LOVELL, born around 1805, died 1863 in
Langton Herring - no evidence of baptism (probably in Chickerell as the
registers there are notoriously problematic).
