I dont know where you get the impression that George Welch married twice.
Quote "It is unlikely that there had been any doubts in the minds of the
Kemp brothers thaat they were the natural heirs to their unmarried uncle's
estate, for he had so long acted as their guardian. Had they previously
ebtertained any doubts on this score they would probably have been set at
rest by their uncle's concern that their younger brother Martin should take
his name of Welch.
It therefore came as a great shock to the Kemp brothers onlt a few months
afterwards to be told that their uncle intended to marry Margaret Evans, a
woman younger than himself for, not only did this mean that George Welch
would be called upon to make a marriage settlement in her favour, but there
was now the possibility of George Welch having children of his own who would
naturally become his heirs in lieu of themselves."
page 68 Mansions and Merchants of Poole and Dorset, Poole Historical Trust.
Cant quote it all, there are 30 pages. Coveromg the Thompsons and Kemps who
owned "The Poole Mansion" The Kemps were linked by marriage to the Welch
family and to the Ledgard family, Martin Kemp changed his name by Royal
Licence at request of his maternal uncle George Kemp. Banker of City of
London, starting line of Kemp-Welch. (16/5/1795)
The dusputes were started by Margaret Evans who discovered George had
entered into a formal Deed of Gift with his 4 nephews giving each a Bond of
£5000 as well as various properties in Poole aand London.
I think you are confusing two George Kemps/

partner in Welch, Rogers and Company, Freeman's Court, Cornhill, London, was
Thomas Rogers, whose wife's father was treasurer of the presbyterian
congregation at Stoke Newington and whose son, Samuel(1763-1855), the poet,
also entered the bank. George Welch was married in 1768 to the daughter of
Thomas Bradbury (1677-1759), the celebrated Congregational minister of
Fetter Lane and NewCourt, Lincoln's Inn Fields.
