Hello Andy,
My grandparents lived at Thornton Cottage Moorside (name of
Gawler)We lived in Lancashire and we children spent all the school
summer-holiday there. I just remember being there for a long time once,
because my mother was in hospital, and I used to play with Evie Galpin who
lived (or visited her Grandparents) next door. That would be in 1925 I think
because I had my 4th birthday there (which is in April) and otherwise I
wouldn't have been there at that time.
Mollie.

I have data back to James Curtis with son James Curtis and daughter Lucy
Curtis (m. Galpin). Don't know where James was born, maybe that he moved to
the area from somewhere else.
