Subject: [DOR] BLANDFORD - location of New Buildings
Date: Mon, 1 Sep 2003 17:10:13 +0100 (BST)
Hello there,
I am looking for the location of New Buildings Blandford - two children died there, one in 1849 and the other in 1854; on the death cert. neither set of parents were present at the death.
The child in 1849, Ellen Maria EYERS, of Wimborne, was aged 7. Cause of Death: Pulmonary Abscess
The child of 1854, William James OLD, of Piddletrenthide aged 6.
Cause of Death: Liver Disease
The relationship between these two children being first cousins, their mothers being sisters: Anna Maria Crane & Mercy Anna Crane, respectively.
Is this just a coincidence or was New Buildings some kind of infirmary?
Thank you
Pam
