Hello Geraldine,
I missed the post that you are obviously replying to, but the name of GOULD
caught my eye. Could you, would you keep an eye out for an Eliza Gould
marrying a Thomas JOY in 1831? At that time he was listed as Yeoman of
Sopley. I am from a brother of Thomas; John Wardner Joy who emigrated to US
and married and raised his family there. But there were 5 brothers and a
sister also in that family and I'm trying to trace them also............All
part of my family history you know! They were from Dorset.
I would appreciate any information that you might come across.
