Many thanks for your email . I am very puzzled as to where my Stephen came
from . I had checked the 1851 and yes saw a lot of ROBINS there then , the
1881 I could find Charles and Joseph and there appears to be no male ROBINS
living in Shaftesbury at that time , 1891 only one male from outside . It could be
that Stephen was one of the sons of maybe Charles , Joseph etc so giving him
links with Shaftesbury . There are only 3 possibles on the 1901 I can see and
the one that comes from Llandenny seems a possible , he is certainly the
right age , the link being that Charles Hoskins who was Josephs nephew moved to a
place near Llandenny , I was given that info by Cyril Johnson .
I will find out for sure somehow , his name on his gravestone is spelt
definately with the one B . Many thanks for your help best wishes Valerie
