I am seeking information about Thatcher family members living in Dorset England. My ggrandfather was Henry Thatcher baptised at St Mary's in Bridport Dorset on 11 Dec 1831. Henry's parents were Anna and John Thatcher (a shoemaker). There may be a link between Henry Thatcher and George Thatcher born about 1837 in Bridport. In later life Henry and George became shipwrights and both moved to the north coast of Kent England. That's as far back as I have got with my research of Thatcher ancestry so far. Anyone know of a connection between Henry Thatcher from Bridport and other members of Thatcher family living in Dorset?
