Hi Lynne,

I know you generally have a rule of no discussion of Admin. items, but I
think the comments below may help as an addition to your welcome
suggestions.

It might be a good idea to mention again that the Dorset list archives are
well worth looking at when the brick wall is reached. The messages written
in the past are stored and can be re-visited as many times as one likes.
Often the messages mean nothing at the time of posting but later a link
appears. The MEECH list is making more of the archives than the current
messages. As information comes to hand listers post it in the hope that
there will be a use later.
It is also very useful to visit other list archives via the search system to
see if there is anything on them that will help the current research. There
is no need to belong to the list being visited.
All the archives can be reached via typing in Rootsweb.com and then click go
or search. I find this easier that typing all the www. address - I can
never remember them or find them when they are needed.

Bernard
