Hello Bill and Derek,
I'm sure that it won't be Poole Park as this wasn't created until the early
1900's. Previous to that date it was not land at all but the muddy and
watery edge of Poole harbour.
However, there are two possibilities, not for Pale Park, but for Park Pale.
From large scale maps of Dorset, it appears that each was an ancient
enclosure with raised banks around parkland. One is OS reference 6401, to
the west of Cerne Abbas and enclosing Cerne Park. The other is OS ref.
9012, west of Tarrant Gunville and enclosing Harbin's Park. Harbin's Park
Farm is nearby.

Hi Bill,
Could this be Poole Park, a large recreational area of land and water to
the east of the town of Poole.
