Committed May 25 1787 by Geo Hutchings Clk and Jno White Esqr. Arrived
prison Jun 27. Name Jas Gossney of Handley. Crime Smugling. Tried before Jno
White Esqr and Geo Hutchings May 9 1787 found Guilty and fined
£100. Fine remitted to £5 by order of the magistrates before whom he was
convicted. Kept by the County, orderly behaviour. Left prison Aug 15 1789.
Discharged by order of Jno White Esqr and Geo Hutchings Clk
