I have a Mahala Doty (born in 1825) in my database who was the daughter of
Ebenezer Doty and Phoebe Goodell. She was married to a Charles Clark, but I
do not have any further information about her spouse, date of marriage or
whether they had children.

Here is what is in my FTM genealogy report:

EBENEZER7 DOTY (AMAZIAH6, EBENEZER5, JOHN4, JOHN3, JOHN2, EDWARD1) was born
1788. He married PHOEBE GOODELL 1808.

Children of EBENEZER DOTY and PHOEBE GOODELL are:
i. WARNER8 DOTY, b. 1810; d. 1830.
ii. ALBERT DOTY, b. 1811; m. (1) LUCETTA METCALF; m. (2) MILLIE ANN

OGAN.
iii. ABNER DOTY, b. 1813; m. HARRIET HAVENS.
iv. MARTIN DOTY, b. 1818.
v. EDWARD DOTY, b. 1820; m. MARY ANN ROBINSON.
vi. LUCY DOTY, b. 1822; m. ASA COLE.
vii. MAHALA DOTY, b. 1825; m. CHARLES CLARK.
viii. HARMONY DOTY, b. 1828; m. BERNARD HUGGINS.
ix. AMAZIAH DOTY, b. 1830; d. 1832.
x. SARAH ANN DOTY, b. 1834; m. (1) ROSEL FITCH EVANS; m. (2) DUDLEY
EVANS.

This would indicate that Mahala Doty was possibly a descendant of Edward Doty
of the Mayflower.
