SHAW, NATASHA (NEE FOFONOW)
Passed away Friday, Feb 10th after a 10 year courageous battle with cancer. Natasha was born at Shoreacres, BC, May 22, 1937. She is survived by her loving husband Al, son Steve of Edmonton, daughter Karen of Nelson, and son Michael (Joanna) of Calgary; sister Vera Chernenko (Bill), brother George (Sheila) and sister Sasha Messinha all of Nelson and brother Allan (Leeda) of Castlegar. The family wishes to thank Dr’s Andre Spiess, Dr Lillian Fyles and Dr Kim, all the nurses and staff of the Cancer Centre for the Southern Interior, the Community Care (Home Care) nurses and the nurses and staff of Douglas Fir Cottonwoods Care Centre. Natasha touched the hearts of so many friends and neighbors whose kind thoughts and support have been so appreciated by the family. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, Feb 18 at 1:30 pm at the First Baptist Church at Kelowna, BC
