I am looking for my great great grandfather Fred McCready. His son William David McCready was born in 1878 in Texarkana, TX. I was told that Fred's wife was Cherokee. In Census records William said he dad was born in Iowa and then later was listed as Oklahoma. William's wife was Ida Raney born near Ft. Smith, AR and they were married there. My grandmother Ada McCready Hutson was born in OK in 1900. Could we have common roots?
