Generations v4 is not an upgrade from Reunion v4, but a renamed replacement
of the same program following its sale from Leister to Sierra. There has
been no free upgrade for anyone in any country from Reunion v4 to
Generations v4, for it is not an upgrade. Generations v4 has no additional
features, and it has never claimed to. The benefits of Generations are
limited to a mighty reduction in price by from $179 to $99, plus a $30 book
on using the Internet for Genealogy, plus 3 x CD-ROMS of American
genealogical/historical data. Thank you Sierra!

Sierra does have a very strong future, and has it's own website at
http://sierra.com/titles/generations and it also provides direct support to
its users, and it does has a mailing list which allows users to share their
experiences with others.

I know who you are referring to, and my previous offer still stands, that is
if you want me to talk to them about their apparent refusal to offer you any
support. The only reason that that distributor stopped distributing Reunion
in Australia was that Reunion ceased to exist and the authorised distributor
for Sierra products (ie Generations) in Australia is Dataflow.
