Subject: Which Cemetery?
Date: Wed, 18 Oct 2000 06:21:15 +1100
Hi Tracy,
The worst case response is that he was buried in whichever cemetery his
next-of-kin wanted him buried in, which could have been in Sydney, or a
country town, or perhaps sent back to England.
Okay, a more helpful response is that he was most likely buried in one of
several larger cemeteries in Sydney, such as:
- Rookwood
- Waverley
- Northern Suburbs
The only reliable method of locating him is to order his Death Certificate,
which will tell you exactly which cemetery, as well as the date and place of
death, and his cause of death. For more information on ordering
Certificates, go to http://www.bdm.nsw.gov.au/
Best Wishes,
Phil Young
