Hi all, I have a mystery!! A couple registered the birth of a child in
Sydney in 1829,then baptised the child in 1832 ,however there is no record
of them from that day forward?
George BOLIN & Amelia FOLGER registered George Jnr.in Sydney, then had him
baptised at ST. Philips Church and left no other trace . There are no death
registrations for either nor a marriage record although I come across what
appears to be a previous marriage for Amelia to James Wood in 1825. Whilst
this is Foulger it would not be unreasonable to assume it to be her ,however
there is no record of a death for JW so perhaps A & George simply lived
together?
Right up until the sons death there is nothing to indicate the whereabouts
of his parents???
Maybe someone can enlighten me with a view of what may have been a simple
explanation that I am missing!!! I hope so. Kind regards Peter.
