Hi
Does anyone happen to know if there is a listing of marriages in the
Illawarra/Kiama area that may not have made it to the NSW BDM register?
I'm currently doing some research into two convicts, David and William
MESSINGHAM, who were an uncle and nephew transported to NSW from Headley,
Hampshire and who were 3 of my Fullick convicts 'partners in crime'. David
was assigned in the Illawarra area and there are several children recorded
in the BDM born to David Messingham and Priscilla.
No trace of a marriage....of course there may not have been one! As I
haven't done any research in the Illawarra area, I'd be grateful for any
suggestions
