Does anyone on this list have information about Sands Directory and
Wise's Post Office Directory? What was the process for being listed?
Did people subscribe, and if so, was it possible to subscribe for a
number of years in advance? How accurate are the listings? Did people
have to pay to have a listing? Etc etc

My request relates to difficulty reconciling conflicting bits of
information. I have a relative listed as living in Waverley for a
significant period (1901 - 1930), when he is known to have been living
in PNG or interstate. His listing continues until 1930, 2 years after
his known death.

Any information would be very much appreciated.
