Team,

You have created a wonderful resource, but from a local history perspective it is hobbled.

Because of the 1000-record limit, it does not seem possible to access records by place, unless the place is small enough to have less than 1000 entries. As soon as the number goes over 1000, all we can see is the number of entries - but have no way of accessing them.

Local historians do not always know every name they wish to see, and the ability to search by placename is vital to us.

Is there any intention to lift the limit after the initial popularity dies down? If not, then can you please advise how I can see all entries with a place of birth of "Lismore, NSW", which has 4255 records.

John Graham
