David Lee Driver

GORDO - David Lee Driver, 68, of West Hill Square Apt. D-2, died Nov. 27,
2000, at Northport Medical Center. Services will be at Cross Roads Baptist
Church today at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Randy Elmore and the Rev. Randy Sudduth
officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The body will lie
in state 30 minutes prior to service. Skelton Funeral Home of Reform is
directing.

He is preceded in death by his brothers, Simon Driver, Waymon Driver and
Truman Driver; and sister, Virtie Tunnel.

Survivors include his wife, Jewel Plowman Driver, Gordo, AL.; daughters,
Patricia Guy and husband, Frankie, Reform, AL. Gail Reeves and husband
Bobby, Columbus, MS, and Christy Stephens and husband William, Gordo, AL.;
sons Walter Driver and wife, Peggy, Gordo, Al.; Randy Driver and wife,
Dea, Millport, AL.; Gene Driver and wife, Brenda, Louisiana; Brian Driver
and wife, Teresa, Fayette, AL., Jeff Driver and wife, Ashley, Gordo, AL.,
Scott Driver and wife, Annette, Carrollton, AL.; and stepson, Ken Plowman;
sisters, Dessie Mai Robertson, Echola, AL., Olivia Sutton, Gordo, AL.,
Nellie Larson, Gordo, AL.; 20 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, and
8 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Driver was born March 3, 1932, to the "late" Ira Belton and Martha
Sullivan Driver. He was a retired timber cutter.

Pallbearers will be Alison Driver, Ray Driver, I.B. Tunnel, Leroy Tunnel,
Mitchel Driver and Bobby Prichett.
