I am a descendant of James of Wales. James was married twice. He had 6
children by his first wife, Margaret and then he m. Lydia McDonough and that
is my line. James and Lydia had 3 children, William, Gideon, b. 1800 and
Margaret b. 1796. Gideon is my ggrandfather. Gideon m. Leah Duvall(my
brick-wall) and they had 10 children. William, b. in 1832, is my
grandfather. My father was Francis Marion and was b. in 1886. I did not
know much about the Driver family until I started researching. My father was
20 years older than my mother and William, my grandfather was 54 when he m.
my grandmother aged 27. It has been difficult because there is no one to
ask, but I have made some progress. Thank you. Marjorie Driver Matzen.
