Hi folks,
Thanks for this genealogy series of "Cousins"
to Michael DROUILLARD in California--
he figured out I'm probably related twice to
Nelson DROUILLARD, in addition to
George DROUILLARD of the Lewis & Clark Expedition!
Here's the query I posted today on the
CHAUVIN and DROUILLARD GenForum's:

RE: DROUILLARD and CHAUVIN of Michigan:
I'm still looking for the parents of Nelson DROUILLARD.
Born in Monroe County, MI abt 1817?
He married abt 1845, Archange (Eliza) CHAUVIN.
Nelson and Eliza are found in LaSalle Township, Monroe Co MI Census of
1850
with son John age 1 year. Then the family moved to Grand Portage, MN.
Nelson died in Bayfield WI, 1873.
We found the genealogy of his wife, Archange "Eliza" Chauvin,
who joins the DROUILLARD family twice--
From: Jean Baptiste Drouillard, b 1731, Quebec
His dau: Teresa DROUILLARD, b. 1758, married Anthony ROBERT
Her dau: Agnes ROBERT, married Joseph BISSONNET
Her dau: Mary BISSONNET, married Joseph CHAUVIN
Their dau: Archange CHAUVIN, b. 3 July 1829

Nelson's Obit posted here:
http://www.teleport.com/~nancyp/elder/NelsonObit.htm
Then, Teresa DROUILLARD is a daughter of my 5th Great-grandfather,
Jean Baptiste, who is the brother of Pierre, b. abt 1746, father of
George DROUILLARD, of the Lewis & Clark Expedition.
Does anyone have more information about Nelson
and " Eliza" CHAUVIN DROUILLARD?
