I am new to this list
I have a Joseph W Morris who is reported to have been born in TN. His father
is to be a Thomas Morris and mother Francis Morris...possibly from the
Carolinas.
JOSPEH W MORRIS is a DR and newly married on the 1850 census of Desoto Co
Mississippi whis is the NW border touching Tenn.. His wife, ELizabeth
Cockrun died during the civil war. I fugured he must have been a surgeon or
Dr in the war.
HE REMARRIED Cynthia Moselle McKissack.
They are my gr gr grandparents.
JOSEPH is to the the youngest of their sons. I know nothing of his siblings
or parents
