Dear Listers:
This is a FOUND announcement that I am willing to share with all.
A Christmas present from a cousin was the gift of access to her
treasured family photos from early Niagara area. I copied several and
will make them available to others who may be searching also. I already
have many other fairly old photos but would be willing to send my
scanned photos online to any other relatives of these people.

FOUND - Photo of Reuben Daten Page and wife Elizabeth Blodzell (resident
of Melancthon Twp. and Patent holder there.)
also
Found - Photo of Aaron Page and wife Laura Daten (parents of Reuben Page
and others) who were Patent holders in Chinguacousy near Huttonville.
The Page Cemetery is on one Acre there now but the balance of his
original 200 acre Patent land is divided and owned by many others. It
is rural residential and small acerages, orchards etc. The former Page
Church situated on that 1 Acre once sold to the Methodist Church became
part of the Huttonville United congregation in early 1900's.

If you have any Page connections and are not currently corresponding
with me, I would be willing to send copies of these pictures and other
extensive research on these families to you. There is one 1915 book on
that family but it is full of errors and omissions. The new 'Page Book'
is being written. I can provide a copy of the descendants of Aaron &
Laura Page in this photo easily. It is a WinWord Document I can send
you which is simply a Descendant Chart showing how all 30 pages in fine
print of these people are related to each other.

I hope to have a research website someday co-ordinating the efforts of
ALL Page families in early Canada. This includes many who are not my
line. I have a huge database relating to all Page people and it is
growing by leaps and bounds. Any single Page name or knowledge of
anyone by that name in modern or old Canada is sought. I already
correspond with dozens of researchers in dozens of lines. We are making
great progress. There are numerous dead ends but huge families have
been connected together already in some lines. I can search on anyone
at all who was alive for the 1871 Census as my database shows all first
names. I do especially NEED all Page names from the 1901 Census soon
with the birthdates and locations. All contributions of even one of
these would be gratefully received as I cannot do it yet myself.
My Page families married into all the great familes of the 1800's in
Ontario, there are many Secord, Cassils, House, McGhee, connections
from this region. Still searching for burial info on Thomas Page
(grandfather of Aaron) who is buried 'near Toronto' and died around
1830. He is not on OCFA and he is not in any of the huge cemeteries of
Hamilton area.

Regards to all, Ruthanne Page
