Hi - I'm new to the list and looking for ancestors and descendants of my 4g-
grandfather James MULLINS, b.c.1777, d. 1871 in Tryon, PEI. His obituary said
he was a native of Annan, Dumfries, Scotland.

One possiblilty is that he was the son of George MULLANS and Janet SCOTT,
christened 19 April 1789 in Graitney (Gretna), Dumfries. George and Scott are
names that occur in the family.

Another possibility is that his father was also named James.

My James was a mariner/sea captain who:
married 1st Sarah Canfield of Wallace, Nova Scotia with issue Mary Matilda,
Miza, Zabud, Nancy/Annie, James and possibly Thomas. I have lots of info on
Mary, Zabud, Nancy and James, and very little on Thomas and Miza.

married 2nd Hannah Snow of PEI with issue Sarah Margaret, Christian Right
(?Wright), Elizabeth Laird,
possibly Alice H., George Scott/R., John Scott, Catherine, Annie, James
Edward, William and Mary Jane. I have some info on all children except Sarah
and John.
