NEW! OS Pathfinder Map series now being replaced:

OS Explorer maps: Scale = 1:25000 (4cm = 1 km; 2½ inches = 1 mile). These
very detailed maps are on the same scale as those in the Pathfinder series
but each one covers a much greater area.
11 Explorer maps plus the Outdoor Leisure map no. 32, (priced at £6.75,
150g), encompass the whole of Dumfries & Galloway:
40 Pathfinder maps were needed to cover the same area.
OS Explorer maps are priced at £5.75 (150 g).
(D&GFHS can still supply some Pathfinder maps, though these are becoming out
of print - £4.50 each: 45 g.)
