Hi Margaret!
My Gg William Carlyle lived at Burnfoot Cottage in 1841-42 ... it's on the Maxwell's Sprinkel Estate in Kirkpatrick-Fleming. He had a cousin
Elspeth MASTERTON b.21 Oct 1824 in Middlebie who married Andrew ROME. They lived at Fauldingcleugh on the Cove Estate in KPF and had no children.

I am feeling very guilty because I have your name on my note pad to respond to an e-mail of some months ago ... I think it is about Allan
Forsyth and I will try to look him up soon. Cheers from Linda
